Here are Ruthie and Stevie, Polish 2 week old chicks taking a short nap on the roost.

Surely it's not comfortable with your head hanging down like that!

That's so cute!

My Polish chicks used to roost when they were babies in the brooder.

Now that they're almost full grown and have the big POOFS on their heads, they do not roost in the coop.
They, instead, huddle on the floor all together. I guess they just can't see the roost above their heads!
