2 week old chicks - too young for treats?

My 11 week old hatchery pullet chicks are 2 weeks old. I have been feeding them only the medicated starter food so far. To those more knowledgeable chick raisers, would it be okay to introduce cooked egg at this point?

I gave my chics tiny crickets from the pet store. It was entertaining watching them run around chasing the crickets.
