I have my first chicks, including 2 faverolles that are 2 weeks old. Initially they looked pretty similar but now one has tail feathers and the other doesn't. Does that mean anything about sex? or type?
Thanks.

Not sure with favs.

A picture or two would help. With Favs you should be able to tell the difference by two weeks just by the feathering. If one has more black on it's back between the wings and down into the wings it is more likely a male. The female won't feather in with a black back. Tails won't tell anything some chicken breeds have long tails regardless of male or female.
