2 week old Pekin legs??

I agree with the above statements. The legs don't appear small for the ducks size, but that one leg especially doesn't look quite right. I would add extra niacin as soon as you can get your hands on some.

I agree, I would start her on a niacin source. You can read the link in my signature for more info regarding treatment. What Mazuri feed are you feeding?

I was soooo hoping to born have to do that .. I’m very anxious about adding anything .. afraid I’ll mess up the ratio, etc and hurt her...
I checked with her feed which is Madurai they have 84mg/ kg and if I think we’re a niacin def. would the vets have picked up on it ? She saw one vet on Thursday and one on Wednesday ( long story) ... I wondering if she didn’t sprain her leg ...
I did order brewers yeast it will be here tomorrow... and it seems she rested and is not walking around the brooder.. also I think I have had the pine shavings way to high ...
ok. I’ll call the vet and see if she should be seen on Monday ... thank you all so much .. I am so anxiousness about messing anything up on them... thank you much .

Hello everyone- thank you all so much - I was really stressed out about this... I feel like I’ve done so much to protect them- they saw 2. Vets this week, and I have them on Mazuri - which I was told is 84mg/kg of niacin and that they should not need supplemental stuff ... then this... honestly I am so anxious about adding the niacin... afraid I am going to do it wrong and hurt them... I did add brewers yeast with garlic to their feed this am.
Can I still add niacin ? How much ??
I can’t possibly make 5 gallons!!
How much for say 2 gallons ... I read somewhere 200 mg for 2 gallons ... is this true ?
Can they have both brewers yeast AND the niacin in the water ?
I am calling the vet today.
But please let me know what / how you do this... thank you.

My Perkins are going to be one year old in November and I was feeding them purina duck feed and I still have issues with their legs. I’m giving them vitamins b complex. Maybe someone with experience can give you the dosage since yours are younger than mine. I give them 1cc by mouth each and I’m seeing improvement. I was adding brewers yeast and did not help them.
