At first it was just small spots on the wings a week ago. I put blukote on them and hoped they would heal and feather out. I have not noticed the other chicks hurting him or anything. Pretty sure it's a he (based on the legs being really thick compared to the other chicks). While I cannot keep roosters I would hate for a baby (of any type) to get sick, be miserable or die. Sadly I am starting to consider culling him. It's now spread to under the wings, and above them on the chicks back. I only have a cellphone for pictures, the chick is black with black skin so it doesn't show up in pictures (so I wont bother posting them).
I added more blu kote. Anyone know of anything else to do besides making it a sweater?

1 have 19 chicks from this batch and only the one is effected, I also have 3 older ones that have no issues.
Pretty sure he's a rooster (based on his reactions with other chicks) and eventually will be butchered, But I also want to know if he'll be edible?

Cockerels feather in oddly/poorly, but 2 weeks is a bit young for bald spots to start. That usually starts around 4 weeks.

I would separate him from the group and see if there is any improvement. I suspect you are seeing the results of some feather picking going on.

Is it possible that he's pulling his own feathers?

Possible...yes. Growing in new plumage is itchy business, so there is often a lot of scratching and digging going on. It is unusual (without bugs being present) for a bird to pluck themselves bald, though. That is usually attributable to the brooder mates.
