2 weeks and no egg

i just got blue silkies and had them for 8 days and still no egg....ive got new hens before and it took around 6... they were broody when i got them but the eggs were bad think that is the reason or just need to wait longer

They are probably just taking a time to settle down if they are old enough to lay.

Are they otherwise well or are they showing broody behaviour or signs of illness? If not give them time, they will get into the rhythm soon,

Give them a little time, my 6 hens layed just a couple eggs the first week and by week 4 they were laying 28 eggs per week, and right now they are laying 2 eggs per week since I've introduced new chicks to the flock 14 weeks ago, talk about frustration!

they seem fine...a little odd compared to the others like mine run from me...these they just stand there but i wouldnt think that means there sick
