It's been nearly 2 weeks since I've seen eggs from my Buff Orpington, who was previously laying an egg every other day, at least. She'd been laying for about 3 months before that. She doesn't seem sick otherwise, and I've looked in all the possible alternate egg hiding places - what do I do?

Also my other Buff Orpintgon has never laid an egg. She was clearly the runt of the litter, and was pretty sickly when we got her; was quickly nursed back to health but is definitely bottom of pecking order. Will she ever lay, do you think? She is 6.5 mos old...

Well, the hen who previously laid may be starting a fall moult- any sign of feathers?

As for the other, what is Her feed? setup? They were hatched in April so you should be seeing action soon.

Never experienced a moult yet, but no clear change in appearance so far. Do they stop laying for that long during a moult?

The non-layer (from same purchase time as other 3 chickens) is on same feed (organic crumble, kitchen scraps, and oyster shells) and housing (4 chicken coop w/ 2 laying boxes, free access to yard during the day w/ plenty of grass) as others.
