When I went out this evening to feed and water my hens I noticed a few of them were sneezing and then one made a cough sound. I only have 4 hens, they are in a confined space. The run is just a dirt run and the coop is just a dog house on stilts basically! Except it doesn't have a dog door, it has a hole in the floor with a ramp. I have never noticed this before and as far as I know nothing has changed. Do I need to ventilate better? Or my mom fed them some bird food yesterday ( just a little handful left over from her feeder) would that bother them? In the coop I just have poultry bedding, I cleaned that out before it got to cold, I think it was in November. Would I need to clean that out already? They are kind of close to the house, would the dryer bother them? ( I make my own un-scented laundry soap and I don't use laundry softeners of any kind) I didn't see any thing different in there poop. I'm really worried! please give me some advise on how to correct this before it becomes a huge issue! Hopefully it's not a huge issue already! aaahh!
