2 year old mallard hen getting drake coloring

Hi,
I have a odd question , We have a two year old hatchery mallard hen who has be slowly changing to male coloring over the past month.
Has anyone see this happen before with a hen, I know drakes do their eclipse molt but this is 100% a girl who has hatched out eggs and has a mate.
She even has a curly tail feather now, lol.
