This is my first time hatching coturnix quail, the temp and humidity on my bator has been running fine. I can look through the top of my bator and see the eggs wiggling around [been doing that for two days now] but still none of them have pipped or nothing. should I be concerned.

temp is at 100 F and just turned humidity to 65% on day 15 it had been running about 45%

I got one late hatch yesterday on Day 19 and no others have hatched so far. I hope at least one more hatches soon so it won't be so lonely! Can they get depressed being the only chick?

My first batch was under the same conditions as yours. The first one hatched on day 14! It blew my mind as I just stopped turning the day before. They kept hatching for 3 more days. I turned things off on day 18. Of those that did not hatch, 80% were duds. The other 20% could not make it out of the shell. Not suggesting you have duds, just sharing my experience. Keep us posted!

I had 4 hatch on day 18 (one didn't make it). It's day 20 and I'm not seeing any movement or pips from the other eggs. How long do you guys wait until you call it quits? I have some turkey eggs that I'm eager to get in there.

I raise a lot so by day 19 I toss them. I suggest waiting until day 21 if one or two more birds would make a difference to you. Also sometimes genetic factors plus incubation and handling factors can cause late hatches.

It's my first hatch and I only got a dozen eggs. I should have gotten more. About 10 minutes after my post another one hatched! I hope I get a couple more by tomorrow.
