20 Percent Starter/Grower

Do you start immediately with withholding food at night for the chicks and only feeding during the day?
 
Mine have access to food 24/7 and have since day 1. I have had NO leg issues or sudden deaths (lost one at 5 days old but that was the only one). I think the slightly lower protein level helped a lot with that. Also, all 4 pens of our meat birds (8 birds total) got blue ribbons at the Live Stock show today!!
