20 week old easter eggers

I have 3 20 week old easter egger pullets, who were born in october, when should they start laying they have red faces and there combs grew a bit for a pea sized comb I'm think here easter egger bantams because there surprisingly small but I dunno yet thanks

Ours started right at 20 weeks.. And she lays every other day.. You're playing egg countdown now. I made sure they had extra nest boxes to help maybe encourage them. Good luck!

Ours were hatched at the end of July and they didn't start laying until just recently. Winter took its toll, I guess.

Should I put nest boxes and fake eggs? does it actully encourage them to lay sooner?

Putting out nest boxes and fake eggs does not encourage them to lay sooner. When they are ready to lay they will lay somewhere. Nest boxes and fake eggs encourages them to lay where you want them to lay. It does not guarantee anything but it does encourage them to lay where you want them to lay. Nothing more.
