20 week old hens “screaming” the past week

I have two Phoenix hens and Polly is a little standoff-ish, she will come to me but doesn’t like to be touched. Now the other one, I call her Phoenix, she is like my shadow and wants my attention at all times lol. She has flown onto my lap and my husbands and sons back if I’m talking to them, I could swear she was jealous of them lol. This is her on the arm of my chair while outside with them...

UPDATE... I just found my first egg!! It is a soft shell so I don’t really know what color it would have been or which hen it was, but I found an egg!!!

Yay! Usually new layers lay eggs with more defects such as soft shelled eggs so maybe this is from the new layers??

I don't know why but every time I see pic of polish chickens it makes me laugh. Depending on the breed of chicken POL can be anywhere from 19 to 38 weeks...That has been my experience anyways. I had Wy's lay at 19 weeks and heritage orps 38 weeks. Once their past 19 to 20 weeks it's all up to the chicken

I have 5 hens that are 21 weeks and they are my oldest so they are all suspects lol

That is exactly why I’ve always wanted polish, they always made me laugh when I saw them too lol
