200 mealworms enough?

To start a mealworm farm, are 200 enough? I thinking of starting a mealworm farm. Also do they stink?

Not sure if you have had any response or went ahead with your project. 200 will be a good starting number although I did start with more. Exotic Nutrition is a good source. They do not stink or have any smell that I have ever noticed. We raise ours in plastic tubs with mesh tops to keep the beetles in. Feed them flock raiser with occasional oatmeal and whole grains to supplement. Keep potatoes cut in 1/2 for moisture on the top of their food and you will have beetles before long.
