Hey I am no pro, I am lucky if I can sew a straight line. Ask the girls from the other swap. I just pluck along, I can anwser ?'s because I have read and read and looked at sooooo many quilt books it is unreal. So don't expect pro from me, heck if my sewing machine does not respond to the can of air I bought, don't expect a straight line from me LOL kidding.

I found a white sewing machine on clearance at Shopko for $75 today and am thinking of buying it. Man I take forever to decide. But hey I am tight with my money LOL. If the air doesn't work tomorrow I will have to do something.

If we do applique, do the edges have to be turned under, or can they just be sewn down if we use the sewable iron on stuff?

You can do the applique' any way that you would like. Just make sure it doesn't unravel.

I'm going to make my second block tomorrow, so whoever is getting it don't worry. I have my friends kids today, so there is no way to sew. lol

I need to make 22 blocks for the spring swap. Anyone know of a good 12 1/2 block that is stripped pieced ?

I got my 1 st block last night from leepsy.

I love that block and the chicken fabris is so cute. Where did you get that fabric?

My dh and I drive to work together, so when we got home last night he stops at the end of the drive way to check the mailbox.
As he is coming back to the car he is laughing, and takes MY package from Leepsy with my quilt block in it and puts it on the windshield under the wiper and drives up the driveway.

There was no harm to my special package. But he thought that was quite funny.
