Scrambled I love my block and wouldn't change a thing.

Mother sorry to hear about your frustration but man we have all been there. Hang in there and take deep breaths.

Okay, After fighting with my sewing machine all afternoon, (only because it's been sitting for so long and I couldn't find my directions for it)I finally got Skand's and Texas's block finished. For some reason I wound up having to put a border on them to make it to 12.5 inches.

I guess it's probably because I'm out of practice, I hope you two ladies like them. Now to start on the blocks for the spring swap, and then get the blocks done for the BYC Town swap, and get my three blocks done for March Swap. These will go faster as I already have the fabrics washed and ironed, just need to cut the pieces.

I got my block from Portage Girl today

... and I LOVE

it! She also sent me a nice note and some extra fabric!

I can't wait to pass some of it along in the next block I make for someone (if it fits their color scheme). Thank you so much Deb!!!!!!

I received my block from redhen today. Oh, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, it is gorgeous and the glass egg box is just so nice, you didn't have to do that

. I took pics of the block including the glass egg, and I am trying to get them to load, but as the wind is blowing a bit, it keeps tweaking the power just as they get close to being finished. This stops it and then I have to start it all over again

I have mentioned this to Wild but being in another part of the world and all, she is busy with those warthogs! Acre, if you stop the cut off at the 20th and post the new beginning as the first, we have lost ten days of work time there. I hope if the new list goes up on the 1st that the due date moves to the 30th so the work time remains the same, otherwise 10 more lag days and shortened work time. Just a thought..but an important one with so many other obligations on this forum..I need those ten days, lol!

Scrambled--I extended the time to the 25th so there is only 5 days

that will be lost. You are jsut so antsy to get this next list up and going aren't you

I’m happy you’re happy Beth! That isn’t the first block pattern I picked, but I had those chicken ‘portraits’ picked out for fussy cutting and knew I had to use them! You wouldn’t believe how I set them out and turned and shuffled, and changed and moved them around on the ironing board, trying to decide what looked best! Between the direction they were facing, and the colors of the background, I really struggled with the ‘best’ look and the best pattern for them. I wound up going with the simpler block pattern, but that’s often the best choice anyway.

I realized I never got the label done either, shame on me! I’ll print those up and send one out to you pretty quick.
