**2009 Quilt Block Swap for JUNE**

Scrambled egg sent me the prettiest Dresden Plate block and the cup of java and a fruit cup to go with it!!

The postman brought the package to the door and wanted to know what smelled so good.

Boy was I delighted!!

Nope there are NO colors I do not like. I am very easy to please.

I got my June block from Zookeeper in the morning mail today. Thanks Jean, when I unfolded it from the envelope it reminded me of a Celtic Cross. Great Job, nice earthtone colors, it will go nicely in with the other blocks in the quilt!

Well...you can NOT have mine!!!

And Scrambled, I am certainly no master quilter. I only been quilting in earnest the last few years. I like being meticulous...(my husband calls that being a#$...ah...something else). And I'm always looking for an easier way to do something.
I've not attempted a curved pieced block other than Grandmother's Fan. I want to try a Drunkard's Path soon. So you are already a step ahead of me.

Guess what I got in the mail today? Two things, one was an envelope which I knew was my block and one from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. So guess what one I opened first? The envelope with the block of corse.

The other one from the PDOA just had my certificate in it for my Poultry Technician License.

My DS and I went to 3 quilt shops today. My friend and I are doing Stash Dash. We visit 7 quilt shops in 14 day and we are in a drawing for a $1,000 Shopping Spree ( it would be nice if I could get fabric with it), Janome Gem 760 Sewing Machine and a Handmade Quilt Rack. I have never won anything in my life so I'm sure I won't win but it's nice to see all the different shops. 3 down and 4 more to go, they are the ones that are about 50 miles away. But my friend and I taking turns driving. My DS and I just went to the close ones today.
I love the block NanaKat it is sooooo much nicer when you can touch it Acre.
