Wet and rainy here today in fact it was yesterday as well. Poor chickies are looking like drowned feather dusters. But a week or so more and we will be able to plant our ground crops and the trannies will be able to go in the first or second week in June.

My B day is in the first week of June and my 2 year old grandson said today, Maamma we ares having a party at yous house for it. Cause yous bought the new great big rill. LOL boy his Mom was not happy and tried to say no we are not and he came back yup ya are I hearded you and aunt Sal say so LOL then the 4 year old granddaughter backed him up and daughter just didn't know what to say other than don't tell Sally they told ya LOL. Man my family can not keep a secret LOL. And I new I should of waited to buy my new grill, now I have to get my painting and cleaning done before my birthday along with all my quilt blocks and planting the garden LOL.

Grandson told on him self at lunch today he said to his aunt Sally. Aunt Sally I's told Maamma about hers party today Mom is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmad. God I just love my grandbabies.

ok quick question.... i need an easy block pattern as this is my first time attempting this....any suggestions?

Scoot, measuring exactly in cutting and the seam allowances is a huge part of this quilting business..precise, precise, precise!!! Use high quality 100% cotton fabric, prewash and iron and press your block well when finished. For smokers, fabreeze before putting it into a plastic bag and sending to your person. It has to measure an even square of 12.5". Try the 9 patch block and look at youtube.com for instructions. That quilterscache.com is awesome too. And be warned, if it's something you end up liking, it's very addictive!

What am I, Chpped Liver? Persona Non Gratis? Acres, you promised to put me in personally for two this month because you closed the May Swap before I got my second block request in. I even reminded you several posts back. However, I guess I'm only being allowed one block per month now, because everybody else who said they would do a second block after me has been added. It must be because I am a smoker, even though this time I washed the finished blocks, and put them in a ziplock baggy once they came out of the dryer so as to not pick up any smoke smell. If you don't want me to participate, just tell me.
