I will have to look at the paper, it's on that. I'm taking a break from weed wacking. DH is mowing and I have to weed wack. He gets to sit and I get to work. Oh well. I will let you know what it is called and where it came from. Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like it. I had grandchildren last night so hopefully it will get done tonight. Sorry luvs2garden2000

I need you to make me about 20 of those blocks o.k......thank you so much.......you are such a sweetie........oh, you will have them to me by next week......WOW!!!.......you work to hard for others.......you need to take time for you and get those blocks out quicker.......................................................................................................

You are so funny after I took the time to put the right sides together and make my line and then sew down both sides than I had to make them 2 1/2 inchs so I then had to cut them. the pattern says cut the squares 3 1/2 inchs. Come to find out I had thangles that were 2 1/2 inchs. I could have saved me a lot of time. So sure I'll start working on yours as soon as I pick my corn, tomatoes, peas, beans and make my bed.

I don't want you all to think I'm on the computer all the time because it always says I'm on line. I just never turn it off in the day time.

Anyway this is what the paper says.

I tried to find it and so far I found, http://www.ideas-for-quilting.com/ I would think it's there. I will keep looking because this site looks interesting. You may not want to get on it.

Go to freequiltblockpatterns and its called, Diamond star. Now I will have to go back and yell at my friend for not telling me about this.

I hope you can find it and if you have thangles use them it saves a lot of time.

Thanks and look what I found on the site where the pattern is.

Many quilt block patterns from the Kansas City Star and the Ladies Art Company that date back to the late 1800's and early 1900's can become full size quilts in a weekend quilt project when you use the rotary cutting techniques and your sewing machine.

I wanted to show you all what I got at a yard sale for $2.00. I hope I can use them with my machine.

Good for you!

Great find Gin!!!Looks like embroidery thread. You can use it with any machine if you get that little thread stand (hard for me to describe). Or you can make you one

I think here in PA we have had rain 30 days out of 35. I'm really tired of it. And I know what you mean about the stand. My friend has one. I'll see where she got hers at. Here's the last pic of Lovs2garden2000 block. Now all I need is and address
wink.png
and I'll send it out.
