2009newchickmom - duck egg update

I'm very excited to say that it looks like 10 out of the dozen eggs are developing! I took out one that had a VERY obvious blood ring developing and there was nuttin' in the other one.

I LOVE how easy these are to candle - very cool.

Now I just have to figure out when they are due to hatch...

I put them in last Wednesday evening.

I agree pbjmaker, duck eggs are SO easy to candle! My blue duck eggs are much easier to see thru than my pinkish chicken eggs!
