I can also make a potato/green bean salad with vinagrette that usually goes over pretty well.

I could bring some snacks/finger food type stuff. About how many people are you expecting at this point?

We will probably have 40+ attending, including the bunch from the Austin Backyard Poultry Meetup.

I have horseshoes to set up. Does anyone have other games or activities they could bring ?

Does anyone want to organize some "egg" games, i.e. egg toss, egg/spoon race, etc. ? I found several prizes on sale to give away...​

Great! I can make a large cake or a couple of different cakes. Don't anybody else worry about desert unless you are just dying to bake. I do a lot of this!

I may be bringing a new found friend that does peafowl. She's a hoot and I hope she can make it.

As far as games, Washers is one of our favs!

I'm in Floresville, Tx...was wondering about the Chicken Stock this weekend, what goes on and how is it?
Is there any poultry for sell, or just fun and games? Trying to talk hubby in to going, if possible. Plus I have some Americauna/Sex Link chicks just hatched, and some Partridge Silkie Roosters, if anyone is interested? Not trying to sell them here, but maybe at Chicken Stock!
Can just anyone come, or do I need to ask permission?
I might be able to bring a dozen Silkie eggs as well...maybe as a prize?
First i'll have to see if I can come!

Would love for you and family to come. Just let me know if you can.

Chickenstock is primarily a social event (see earlier posts), but next year we are thinking of expanding to more of a Chickenstock/swap/sell sort of gathering.

DH and I are supplying brisket and chicken, so just bring a side dish or dessert, and family and/or friends if coming.

If anyone is interested in any of Crystal's chickens, let her know.
