2011 Wishlist

Thanks to the Blizzard of 2010 I am home with not much to do other than play on the internet. So naturally I just have to start thinking about what I want this spring to restock my flock after the mangy fox massacre of last year. Fox is gone so now I can safely add to the coops. And with my new part-time job as a de-icer at our local airport I have a bit of extra money coming in to spend.

So, as of this minute, I have my Holderread's order form filled out with a request for 6 Saxony, 6 Assorted Runners and 5 Australian Spotted (or 5 Mini Appleyard if need be). I really need to just bite the bullet and send the form in. Otherwise I will spend the next week changing my mind on the amounts and/or breeds. Oh wait I can do that with the chickens I want to order to replace the ones I lost. After all it is still snowing.

Im also wanting to put in a Wish List to Holderreads too. I want to get some White Runners and some Emery Penciled Runners. I have seen photos of their duckling Emery but I sent them an email asking if they SELL the Emery as I think they only send them out as a standby. The Emery IS NOT on their for sale list. I keep thinking shall I...na, better not...shall I , yep fill in the fom....naaa, better not. I need to make up my mind before I quit this idea and regret it!

Have the order form filled out and ready to put in the mail.

Website says they are taking orders for 2011. I'm hoping for April delivery but won't complain if it takes longer.

I had a reply from Holderreads...they do sell the Emery Penciled

Now I just have to figure out how many of each I want.

I'm adding 4 Metzer Runners and 3 of their French Toulouse Geese. I want lots more, but I have to do it slowly so Snakeman doesn't have a coronary.

Lucky me I don't have to tell anyone. And my order was sent out today.

. Now I get to wait impatiently for a few more months for them to hatch out.
