Ok guys my gander is getting really ornery usually he follows me around talking to me, today he arched his neck and tried to bite me, i pinned him down for a minute and he stopped. What do you guys do when this happens? He also went after my mom and daughter.

Welcome to breeding season! Ganders shouldn't be around little kids right now. And just keep an eye on him when you go in the pen. They are sneak biters !

Yup, very typical pre-breeding season behavior.
Its only going to get worse for the next few months.
Keep letting your boy know you're the boss.
Watch your back and keep the kids and mom away from stud boy.

Vicky, thought you might like to see Miss Blueberry Nugget. She's no where near as fluffy as her sister BBMuffin, but she is sweet, sweet SWEET! I hope to pair her with an ultra curly boy and get those heavily feathered smoothbreasts that you see from time to time. Unfortunately, I don't think I have anyone that will do that this year. Oh well...she's a pet mostly, but awfully cute with a charming personality.
Christine really got a gem when she got this kid's dad!
