I have Blue Laced Red, but I am on the hunt for a roo as I lost mine over winter.

I will not be offering eggs this year, though, as I am raising out and culling heavily from my birds to get my flock where I want it to be.

I don't have any pics currently on this computer to share sorry!

I am hoping to acquire this year:
Silver Pencilled Wyandottes, both LF and bantam.
Bantam Blue Laced Reds.

I FINALLY got on the bandwagon and purchased some BLRW. They aren't show but for selling to folks who just want a beautiful laying chicken they are perfect

Thank you!! I'm working on my next blog post "before and after" as we just did a make over of our livingroom....er, we're in the process of it LOL so there will be some before and after pics coming in the next couple of days.

Hey folks, I decided that I would put together a little list of wyandotte breeders for 2012. It will help those that are interested in getting into this lovely breed a chance to find those that are breeding better quality birds rather than hatchery. If you are interested in becoming part of the list just use the quote button and put your BYC name and current state you in, or just reply to the topic and I will put you on the list by editing the post as soon as I can. I think this will be fun and a great way to get to know one another! If I have forgotten any variety just tell me, or add it to the appropriate section. Also if you have any sort of project birds, you can put those as well. Let’s see what we can come up with

As far as I know I will be at the Newnan show. If I have anything it will most likely be eggs, maybe some chicks. I think i will be showing one of my blue girls, and also my roo, but I went out to the pens yesterday and he was limping for some reason :/ . Great. I don't think i'll be showing any of the blrw, they aren't really good enough for show. I can brings some eggs from the blues, maybe, I have two girls that are laying now steadily so if I can get all three to start that would really be great. If anyone wants to find me follow the sound of the banjo, or look for a banjo somewhere . Looking forward to putting faces with some of these names.

I raise SL. I got some from Foleys last year. Very nice birds. I love them. I was wondering if anyone knew someone in the midwest who raises SL. I was thinking about bringing in some new blood.
