Some colors like Violettas,Cameos,Purples and Peach are sex linked colors and can be identified when hatched what their sex is but not the rest.In the barred winged pattern of peafowl the males keep the barring and the hens lose it. On India Blues at about 6 weeks you can start seeing it disappear if it's going to be a hen.

Thank you, that is good information. However, does anyone know if pea chicks can be wing sexed like chickens? That is looking at the primaries on day one and seeing a pattern like, lililililili for one sex and lllllllllll for the other?

Here they are!

Top right is BS split to cameo/BS
Middle right is lp/sp
Bottom is white

These are from 6 eggs that @DylansMom sent. One was a late quitter, but it's still under a hen until I'm 100% sure. Gonna give six a few more hours then I'll peel away some more shell.

P4 was seriously malpositioned, most likely due to the wonky air cell. It had pipped internally, but could not reach the shell because it had it's foot over it's head *and* it's beak over it's wing.

Just so everyone knows, these eggs left PA and arrived in CA in just over 24 hrs. Priority Express shipping. To make that kind of time they had to have flown, so this should help dispell some of the rumors regarding air travel and hatching eggs. There are eggs that I sent to 2 other members that are being incubated now, and I hope they have as much success as Kathy!
