I unplugged our incubator a while ago as well, and my opal hen is laying again. But that may mean I can hatch opal silver pieds if her eggs are fertile. The past two attempts that I have seen she would not let the peacock stay on her long enough... But I have a lady amherst pheasant broody and will take advantage of her.

Shamefully I must confess that both of mine are still plugged in and I have four broodies sitiing on 2-4 eggs each.

You are So Hooked!

I am, lol... What's interesting is that I'm still getting fertile eggs from the two girls that are in with the trainless 2 year old and yearlings.
