All of mine are a year old in August. There are 4 hens and 1 peacock, and I am wondering what to do. I want to get a purple male and a white male. The ones I have been looking at are 2 years old.
Any suggestions?

Not sure what you are looking for suggestions on?
Should I get the 2 yr old would he be fertile. Or, should I try and find a 3 yr old, 1st question. Second question, my hens will be 2 yrs old next August will they be old enough to breed?
If he is 2 yrs old now there is a chance he will be fertile but not a certainty, however at 1 yr. old your hens probably won't lay any eggs this year so he doesn't need to be fertile yet. I would imagine you will get some eggs from your hens next year. Last year I had two 2-year old hens and both laid 1 clutch of eggs. If your male is 3 next year and your hens are 2 next year you should be in business next year.
