2016 Gosling Hatch-a-long

After one attempted hatch by my Pilgrim goose in November which I stopped and another completely unsuccessful hatch attempt in March I was worried that my gander wasn't doing his job and we'd have no goslings this year. But my goose just hatched 4 of 6 eggs set. All the babies look like females to me, anyone with more experience with sexing Pilgrims want to weigh in?

Also, is there a reason why the mother and father would be outside with only one gosling and leave the other three inside the coop? Should I be worried/bring them inside and hand raise them?

Well, I had to search all over for the goslings, mom and dad seem to have no interest in taking care of them and they were wandering all over the place. Debating what to do to keep them safe until they're bigger.

What a bummer they are not interested in raising them. If they left the goslings behind, then I'd go ahead and brood them inside.

HELP!
Gosling 2 & 1/2 mos old...angel wing...can it be fixed with wrapping now or is it too late?? I remember seeing a while back that someone had a gosling with it and it was too late at the time and they waited until the first molt and fixed it then. I wonder if I clipped the feathers and wrapped it would it still work without waiting until the first molt?

I know of no cases where it can be corrected once the bird is older than a few months old, but it may not be too late just yet. I'd wrap it right away. Best of luck!
