How is the temptation resisting going?
Barred Rock! We have named the one Rocky BarredboaWhat does BR mean?
Sure thing! I was wanting to do some posts on them from fuzz balls to feathered. I might just add them here. We had 2 EE's not doing well when we got them home, we lost the one EE, I never could get it to eat and it barely drank, the other got a slow start but at 2 weeks it took off and is now the biggest of the bunch and by 3 weeks it was becoming an obvious roo he had great coloring so far, cream and Grey's with rust spots on his wings and his neck feathers are medium grey with white/ cream lacing. A second seems to also be a roo, he is browns and getting a cream chest.I always like to see what the Easter Eggers turn out to be like compared to what they look like as chicks. It’s interesting how much they change and you never know what you’re going to get! They must be getting big by now! If you get a chance you should post some pictures of what they look like now.
My chicks are on order. June. Not till June! So I am surviving vicariously through all the fluffbutt pictures here. How is the temptation raising going?
June!?! That's got to be torture we got lucky with an early catch at the feed store, they've been selling out pretty much before they even arrive. I'm excited that we might be getting eggs by fall.My chicks are on order. June. Not till June! So I am surviving vicariously through all the fluffbutt pictures here.
When I get impatient (every ten minutes or so), I think of all the projects I have to get done to get ready for them. Or talk hubby into doing to get ready. And then I'm glad I have a couple months.June!?! That's got to be torture
