:hugs :hugs :hugs
I don't do resolutions. I learned that you just set yourself up for failure when you do that. What you are going to do, just do it. If you have to wait until a certain date to start then you have already started on the fail.
I totally agree. I made some "new day" resolutions a couple weeks ago. They are to help me be overall healthier this year.

Most resolutions require self discipline. I read this quote many years ago:

Self discipline is deciding what you want.

You can think short term: Do I want a nap, or do I really want to get XYZ done and get that chore off my back?

You can think long term: Do I want that POS thing I think I want to buy, or be closer to getting out of debt?

Usually, the answer is quite clear, if you're honest with yourself.

Yep, fat and protein are digested more slowly, so they slow down the absorption of accompanying carbohydrates.
This is great for controlling blood sugar spikes, but it also means that if you're treating low blood sugar, then you want something like fruit juice, soda, or candy (I keep boxes of apple juice by my bed and in my purse for this exact purpose).

2 more resolutions:
Be more outspoken
Don't rely in others to comfort me or make me feel better

Oh, sorry, never mind

'22 sucked, '23 was much better, hoping for even better in '24. I don't do resolutions, but would like to see my average daily step count exceed 10,000. Last year I averaged 9,693 steps/day.
Do you have a Fitbit!?!?!?!
