If it's still on his phone, then he needs to figure out how to get the original image to you. The images on his phone should be at least 4000 pixels wide by 3000 pixels tall. The one he sent you is 1008 x 756. It is not the original:

I'm not a techy, but I think I can help . . . maybe, lol.
When a picture taken at a higher quality is sent through a text is gets render to a lower quality so the image goes through more quickly.

For the picture to keep the higher quality it needs to be submitted from the phone it was taken with. You can do this by using a USB cable that allows for data transfer (not all charging cables do) and plugging into you computer/laptop and moving the pictures to the computer, then uploading it.

If you need further information I'll have to get my son . . . he's our in-house 'techpert' (I'm coining that phrase, lol)
