Hey, watch your envelopes for a fun idea!
I've done this every year for the past few years, but have had no winners.
If you've paid attention to the envelopes your calendars come in, you'll notice I like to use animal themed stamps, the more backyard animals, the better.
Starting this week, I will be randomly using 4 stamps on 1 or 2 envelopes per week through Christmas with a theme.
If you get an envelope with 4 stamps that are all backyard birds, you are a winner!
If you get an envelope with 4 stamps that are all backyard animals that are NOT birds, you are a winner.

The prize? a 3 month PFM for you or a member of your choice.

Drop a picture here (fuzz out your name and address) and I will contact you for additional info.

I started late this week, so no one should have gotten an envelope...yet. Watch those mailboxes!

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but no one else I know would appreciate them. I honestly use the calendar on the PC more than a wall calendar, so I don't know what I'd do with them.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but no one else I know would appreciate them. I honestly use the calendar on the PC more than a wall calendar, so I don't know what I'd do with them.

My 2025 calendar has almost every day written on it in the summer. Eggs were set every 5 days, and they hatched every 5 days, so I marked everything on the calendar to help me keep track. I wrote on each set of eggs a code, like X, =, o, etc., and that's how I'd know, as I had a steady run of eggs for a few months. Add in hubby's and my appointments so we could each see when the other was running to town, and a few birthday reminders, as he's got his side in his phone, and I have mine in my phone.

Plus, we sometimes can't keep track of things, like holidays, and they're all on there.

This calendar has saved my sanity!

I have one more batch of purchased eggs I plan to get in late January to get some colored egg layers in my flock. After that all the babies will be from my own flock until I need to swap out roos or some other similar situation.

This first few months have been a whirlwind. Setting up runs, figuring out logistics of breeding pens etc. This next year is gonna be all about the chicks and which breeds I want to focus on going forward. I can't wait.
