Usually it's the type of phone or camera, or setting on either of them. For instance, my iPhone has different settings for what I'm taking pictures of whether it's landscape, portrait, etc.

When I was newer and entered some contests, @casportpony explained mine weren't large enough either. I think the issue was that my phone was using fewer pixels when posting the picture, but not sure. I just know how I fixed it.

What I do now is let iCloud back up all of my photos fully, from my phone or iPad, then when I need one, I use my PC to log into the cloud and download the one(s) I want to a folder, then post the pictures from there. I use my PC for BYC, though too, so that's slicker that way.

Yours are what I call "skinny format". If you uploaded your original, uncropped images, they're like that because your camera is set to that aspect ratio. What camera are you using?

Its a old Samsung phone..And also my husbands phone, thats a Redmi( Chinese phone)..Maybe its settings on the phones that I don't know about..
