just put 3 eggs in my mini bator. all crossed with my b.o roo. 1 araucana, 1 rhode island red and 1 wellsummer

i wonder what the chicks will look like when they hatch.. anybody have these crosses already?

I'll be putting my 14 sussex crosses in the bator in about 20 minutes. Want to do it on an even hour, the bator has held temps all day long and i'm ready. Good luck to you and i cant wait to see what your babies look like! Meet me back here in 21 days???

im now on day 5

i candled all 3 eggs and they are all developing

im so ecxited to see how they all turn out... i hope they all survive the hatch

I'm very afraid, when I checked as I put them in, I thought the aircells might have been detatched, i'm very afraid but I might as well go in there and get it over with >sigh<

Well, upon inspection i have 3 doing something i MIGHT have seen something going on in a few more but these eggs appear really porous, unless thats what sussex eggs are like. I'll give them a few more days and check them again. They felt cooler than I think they should have the other day when i had to retrieve my thermometer that fell through the turner, so I bumped it up closer to 101 so we'll see what happens. I just dont feel real good about this..i mean 3 of 14 ? Oddly enough the ones without an obvious detatched aircell, are clear as day, nothing at all going on in there, i swear 1 i couldnt even find a yolk!
