thats strange! ive never experienced that.. i dont normally allow porous eggs to be incubated as its risky.. well i hope you have success with the ones that are fertile

I just candled yesterday on day 7! I am very excited, I can see veining in them but not any definate embryos that I can see at the moment. also, one of them has veining and I cant really tell if it is a blood ring but when I turn it, it looks like there is liquid in there moving around, and the others don't look like that any advice?

candled with the kids last night, first time with them actually and those maybe's that I had the other day have all turned into little bouncing pre-chicks inside. I now officially have 11 out of 14 developing and bouncing off the egg walls!!!! I was soooo glad to find more than 6 and super glad i didn't toss them. I of course have the 3 clear ones that i'll be disposing of today. So here's to moving forward !

yaaaaay congratulations

all 3 of mine all look ok and wiggling around inside. Koda give them a few more days and see if any growth occurs. ive never seen a red ring.. try searching it on youtube. there should be a vid on there about it

I'm gonna watch this post too, although my eggs aren't in yet. I've just bought one of these mini incubators and will be setting my eggs hopefully on Wednesday, so am eager to see how you do with yours.

I have just set 6 large chocolate orpingtons and 6 large black orpingtons, and 3 mille fleur.
