So is day one the day you set the eggs or is 24 hours later day one? I am confused

From what I understand, the day AFTER you put them in is day one.

You have to start at 0.
So it's 24 hours before you get to count the 1.
Sort of like your first birthday
You aren't 1 til you are 12 months old.

Hence, eggs set on April 1st would be hatching 21 full days later on April 22nd.

it's not about how many calendar days you touch, it's about how many hours it takes.
