21 week old Golden Polish UPDATED 27weeks NOT a roo, got an EGG!!!

I just don't get why this guy has such a clean face. He is not expected to get a big comb, but he should at least have some little red flaps of wattle by now, and some red along his beak. Here a link that show the two sexes:

My three polish are around 24 to 28 weeks (according to the feed store lady) and only one has the tiniest shading of red and no signs of wattles yet either. This must be the slowest maturing breed imaginable. I posted pics and got both hen and rooster guesses so I am still waiting on a crow or an egg.
