21 week old silkies

21 weeks old. Any idea on gender? There are 2, I’ll post the other One in a comment.

They should be trying to crow by now if they are roosters. They kinda look like my silkie hen so if they are not crowing I would say pullets.
I can see why its hard to tell. The top one has a face like a roo and body like a pullet and the bottom one has a face like a pullet but the body of a roo!

I attached a pic of my hen. See how her tail is more of a pom pom than a arch and even though she has a fluffy head there are no streamers. Also she sits low to the ground almost squatted. Roos tend to stand taller. That's one way I can judge without a crow. So keep an ear out for the crow! ha,ha

Yesss I think they are both confused I haven’t heard either trying to crow. I have a porcelain D’uccle, same age as they and crowing and breeding with the girls already, so I figured they should be atleast trying to crow by now. But nothing. I also have 4 other known roosters (Silkie, duccle, sebright, and Polish) So maybe they just don’t need or want to crow? Idk.
