23 week old silkie-- roo or pellet?

I knew pretty early most of my silkie's gender but this one has me guessing. Maturing late maybe? I have not heard it crow or lay an egg

He sure has a cockerel stance. But at that age surely he would have crowed? I am not sure.

i'm not sure on this one it really could go either way. And sometimes they wont crow until they are 10 months old! With silkies you pretty much have to wait for a crow or egg to be sure

x2 and the coloring is very rooster like, though I'm not sure the comb makes me think of a pullet.

Wait a minute!!! the title said 23 months! i really need to pay more attention. Was that a typo? I do not raise silkies but at that age you show have a crow or an egg plain and simple

I'm leaning towards hen. He does't have any streamers, but it is hard to tell at that age.

Ok, I was about to freak out. 2 years and no crow and no egg! I am still going with what I had before i thouhgt it was 23 monthd

females can get spurs, trust me Ihave had ones with spurs. But even males dont usually get them until they are a year old
