Keep in mind that incubators work on ambient air plus concept. So for example my brinsea ovaeasy 380 expects an ambient air temp of 70*F. I don't set eggs until the AC is on in the second week of April. Before that my temps are way too unpredictable.

If you want another affordable option, I recommend trying out a Hovabator. That was what I used with my very first hatch, and it lasted for a few years.
