So it's day 27. I still have 3 eggs that haven't hatched. Wheb candling they are completely black. Can't find air bubble. But during float test (checked 2 1 of 3 looked like it had a micro chip in it) they both floated like in previous pictures. Hen still sits in them, but when she's off them they feel cool to the touch. Are they gonners?

I may be mistaken but I thought the float test was to check for movement and if the embryo was still alive. Float test for freshness (eating eggs) measures the air cell. Older eggs will have larger air cells since shells are porous and fresh new eggs have tiny little cells.

Yep, trash-carefully so they don't break or in the woods if you have any near by for a critter to enjoy
