Right i have 10 hens 1 cockal and i was thinking that i have seen people on byc pics that people have feeders and waterers in the coop and i was wondering do i have to do this and will it get me more eggs and if i should do i have to have a feeder or just a bowl?tray of food (layers pellets) :)

It is a good idea to keep feed/water available 24/7 inside the coop for the chickens.
Some people put the food up at night if they have problems with mice.
You won't necessarily get more eggs by providing more feed, but you might end up with healthier and bigger chickens.
You don't have to buy fancy feeders; you can use bowls or milk cartons cut in half.
I use store-bought feeders and plastic milk cartons.

so just cut the milk carton in half and fill it with food and as i have to waterers outside i could put one in side the coop x
