I am finally done hatching for this year. I just set yesterday and will check fertility one last time before I ship on Mon. Sept. 12th. I do trim my birds for fertility purposes.
Pen 1 has well typed hens in with some boys to help them in the color dept. The offspring from this pen should be put back to a well typed cochin.

Pen 2 has one well typed male and one well patterned male in with 4 of this early spring's pullets. They have been laying for over a month now and are laying decent sized eggs.
Pen 3 has an excellent typed mottled hen with brassy hackles in with a buff columbian male. I have been getting some good stuff from this cross.
