TOH, what do you think of the colors now that they are dry and fluffed out?

so cute makes me want to fire the bator up again. No No you all can;t make me it is to cold even those those babies are just so darn cute. you already have some babies so no more until it gets warm!!!!!!!! haha we will see how long that last.

OMGosh, MissPrissy, they are absolutely gorgeous chickies. I am so chickie jealous of you right now. I love ORPS, love 'em, MUST GET MORE COLORS. I love my buff girls and guy, but I would love to have that array of colors. What do you think those lightest ones are? I love the buffXblue. So you ended up with every color? Oh, man, some people have all the luck.

Texaschickmama, these chicks are from blue and black orpingtons roos however in the same pen with blue/black hens are a buff orp hen and a lt brahma hen.

The silvery chicks are a variation of blue orpington. The two black are are well black. LOL

I suspect, and need TOH to verify, chicks 5 and 8 are most likely from the brahma. 3 is questionable. 9 is the buff/blu cross.

They are just gorgeous!!!!!

I love all the different shades of blue, silver, & black. I hope you will continue to post pics to document how they grow. Thanks for sharing! I also have spring baby chick fever.

Nice Fluffies!!!...# 1 looks to have curled toes, so watch and do the cardboard and bandade bit for acouple days...looks to be a dark blue...#2 light blue...# might be a mix...just going to have to watch it grow out..#3 looks a mix of buff/blue or black roo....#4 looks light blue...#5 & #6 & 8 look splash, mine have always had light colored feet....#7 & 11..look black, but you just have to watch them grow out...#9 is the buff/blue...#12 blue....

Someone else can chime in that raises these as to the colors to...I just have to watch them grow out for a few weeks to be positive....
