I wanted to let you know the eggs just got here and they are in perfect shape!! We will be putting sayyyy 10ish under our broody hen, and the rest in an incubator. I will let you know how it goes and send you pics! I live on an acre and ahalf on the edge of town and keep a flock of aprox 20 PETS lol...we loveee our girls, and have truly loved raising them with our son. It's a great thing to do with kids! Our broody hen has a nice 6X6 home set up in the garage, so she is safe and warm, and we can keep an eye on her. We carry her our 2X a day to potty and she waits for that!! hahaha! She is a cochin and is named Big Mama =). I think she will be theee best mom. When the new girls are big, our coop used to be our shed, with a completely enclosed run that is very long and enclosed with a tarp for the winter. They free range 4-5 hours a day. Just wanted you to know your girls will be taken care of and loved! (I have 2 friends wanting to buy a couple if they all hatch =) )
