24th day and no pip!!?!!

Wait there’s a problem it’s keeps rolling on its back and staying like that. I tried to help it but it flipped again

Something to try... give it a tiny bit of very sugary water... it really pepped up my little turkey hatchling I thought might not make it, but now its running around!

I hatched a chick once that did that. It’s neck was crooked it kept flopping over on its back every time I tried to stand it upright it just flopped back over. It was the saddest thing. It’s called a stargazer and had to be culled. I couldn’t find any other solution. I hope this isn’t the case with your chick, but I’m so sorry if it is.

I've had chicks hatch a week late and been just fine. I've also had 'breach' chicks hatch all on their own. And some needed help. That's a process that's very slow because of looking for blood veins. But all chicks grew up to be normal fine adults :)

My eggs haven’t hatched and it’s been 23 days today. I candled the egg and their is movement but no peep. And it’s all of the 6 eggs that I have. Is it a lost cause to continue or is this normal. I did get the eggs two days later when they were laid.

Welcome to BYC!
I would suggest starting a new thread so that more people will see it.
If there is movement in the eggs I would leave them in the incubator. Do not keep opening the incubator. Are you sure that it is the 23rd day? What is the temperature and humidity in your incubator right now? If it was too low at some point during incubation that could cause a delayed hatch.
:fl fingers crossed that they will hatch fine.
