25 week old pullets still not laying

Three out of four of my speckled Sussex pullets still show no sign of laying eggs. The one that is laying has been doing so for 2-3 weeks now. I know shorter days are starting but I'm also in NC so we've had no cold weather at this point. Is this just normal for this breed? I also purchased a barred rock chick at the same time I got my specked Sussex chicks and she's also been laying for a couple of weeks now.

Do they have red combs/wattles and have you noticed any egg-laying behavior, like squatting? Make sure you're feeding them a good layer feed, with oyster shell grit supplemented. I did some quick research and some say that they sometimes lay later on--maybe 8-9 months. Hope they start laying soon!
