25 weeks and our first cream legbar egg

These CLs take their sweet time. But we finally got our first blue egg today.

CL on the left, RIR in the middle... Trader Joe's on the right.

I think my first cl girl was almost 30 weeks before her first rounded little blue egg!
But, she lays like a champ, so maybe they make up for lost time with proliferation!

Hatched 2/23 and they have both now laid eggs. Walnut is laying one per day while I'm hoping Cashew matches her pace.

Hoping this is the case. We can only keep 5 chickens in SD, hoping to up our average so we can stop buying.

They are a light bluish/green. Hoping that tint comes in a little darker as they get older. I do like the contrast to the brown from our RIRs!
