Reminds me of when my Buff Orp, Sunny, hatched two chicks...right next to a grow out coop holding 25 more two-week-old babies! She wanted them, so we let her in with them and that hen adopted all 25 in addition to her own 2. She was in maternal bliss!

My hen Duchess did that. She hatched 33 eggs over 4 days and had no problems with her babies. Your momma hen is great, her babies are lucky little ones.

That is SO cute!!!!

When I first bought Chili one of my BR hen's she had her 8 babies plus 18 Keets under her. And she's not that big of a hen.

Baby chicks and keet heads poking out from all over her feathers. It was so cute and funny.
