My partridge plymouth rocks are 26 weeks, have bright red combs, make a lot of noise, and I saw 1 squatting the other day. Still no eggs.

Could it be because they reached maturity as the day lengths started to shorten, which reduces or shuts down laying? So they may be getting mixed signals from their bodies and from the seasonal indicator.
